RUNWAY: Corneliani SS12

Corneliani is a blue-chip house when it comes to wearable, luxurious clothes for the business man who wants to be fashionable without being too avant-garde and standing out, in the wrong way, during a board meeting. For Spring/Summer 2012, suits were wide, on lapels and trousers. Though wide pants can look slouchy and unkempt, this specific cut and the styling created a rounded box silhouette that is flattering and masculine. One of Corneliani's best attributes are their fabric choices, for SS12, it was soft linens, cottons, and other lightweight fabrics (with a bit of ostrich for good measure) that made up the majority of the collection and it was quite fetching.
