RUNWAY: Nautica FW11

Nautica is another one of the great preppy brands alongside Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren. As the name indicates, Nautica has nautical themes and it was no different for the brand's Fall/Winter 2011 presentation. The nautical themes were ever present in the stark all-white outfits, with chunky sweaters, seen towards the end of the collections. There were also some great coats, like the opening camel toggle coat and a military inspired overcoat worn by Ollie Edwards. In the world of the highly competitive preppy menswear market, Nautica continues to carve a space for itself, differentiating itself from its rivals like Hilfiger & Lauren while still appealing to the same customer base.
