RUNWAY: John Varvatos FW11
John Varvatos shows his Fall/Winter 2011 collection in an old church in Milan and converted it into an old railway station, akin to those seen in many Western movies. The runway was replaced by real train tracks with the background being a large clock. The scene was ample reference to the clothes which infused Rock n' Roll sensibility and style with Varvatos' signature casual worn-in tailoring. You learn all you need to know about the collection from its first look, worn by
Johannes Linder, in an oversized olive scarf and grey knit cardigan and lace worker boots.
