RUNWAY: Iceberg FW11
Iceberg walks (or floats, as icebergs do) to its own beat. Their Fall/Winter 2011 collection broke from the prevailing trends of Milan this season (fur and the 1970s) and show a mix of loose, bohemian clothes and American sportswear finishes and lines. The simple accents like big horizontal stripes on sweaters, to the tips of jackets and scarves was a nice change from the visual overload from other designers in Milan who had very busy collections. On the opposite end of the coin, it could be said that the progression of Iceberg's definition of modern clothes is a bit glacial.
