RUNWAY: Daniele Alessandrini FW11

Daniele Alessandrini's offerings for next season ranged from beautifully printed sweaters to suede suits (in camel, no less) to fur trimmed outerwear and a feathered vest so it's no stretch of the imagination that the collection echoed the 70s, a big trend for next season. Like most of the other shows, it was a much more modern take on the 70s, gone at the flared pants and in its place were pants that were cropped and/or tapered, elongating the wearer and creating a much leaner silhouette.
