RUNWAY: Acne FW11

Acne broke from tradition and showed their Fall/Winter 2011 wears on a runway rather than a presentation and it was worth the extra expense. The clothes were ethereal, uplifting and fit the body perfectly, never too relaxed or tight, two things that were quite prevalent for next season. Rather somber in the beginning, the show really showed its colors, both figuratively and literally, at the halfway point where the blacks, greys and whites seen in the beginning wear ramped up 100x with electric shades of salmon, cerulean, and eggplant.
