RUNWAY: Prada SS15
Miuccia Prada's sets are always a marvel from little houses to this season's indoor pool scene. Unlike last night's garish display,
Prada took on a more somber tone and offered a seasonless favorite: jeans. Jean jackets with trim silhouettes were paired with rectangular jeans that had a Western meets 70s vibe. Meanwhile the powerhouse designer offered plenty of tailoring, also something men want every season, no matter the year or climate. Here, Prada showed plenty of wonderfully tailored trousers, overcoats with contrast seams and a handful of leather coats that also aimed to solve the conundrum of what to wear in-between seasons. Prada did not take many leaps into the unknown this season and instead drew a straight line from the runway to the cash register since this collection is one of the most wearable collections straight off the runway from the Milanese house in years.
