RUNWAY: Kenzo SS14

After hiring Opening Ceremony's Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, the Kenzo spirit has been sportier than ever and the duo looked to continue in that direction. For SS14, Leon and Lim looked to the California surf scene as inspiration and the result was a very laid-back and casual collection full of really beautiful prints, like the hand drawn prints made to resemble waves. A denim outfit was sleek, even with wide pants, while the jacket had that same wave print emblazoned in a thick block in the middle. In all, the collection was as cool and fresh as anything one might find at Opening Ceremony.
