RUNWAY: Berluti SS14

Berluti's Alessandro Sartori, formerly at Z Zegna, continues to combine his expertise in tailoring and style to create a niche for Berluti, the recently revived footwear label from LVMH that has branched off from its oxfords and brogues heritage into a full ready to wear collection. Well made suits and sportswear, in flattering and muted hues of yellow, burgundy and blue, were plentiful and always perfectly paired with beautiful shoes. Sartori and Berluti have only been showing in Paris for four seasons and despite its long history, the current iteration of Berluti is still in its infancy and it's quite fitting that even the eveningwear shown felt boyish and very youthful.
