RUNWAY: Hardy Amies FW12

Savile Row retailer Hardy Amies aims to reach a broader audience when they showed their FW12 offerings in Florence today during Pitti Uomo. Their English heritage is clearly seen through their sharply cut suits, seen mostly with wide legs and double breasts. A point of interest for the FW12, however, were the delicate patterns seen on the clothing. These fancy suits weren't done up in plain pinestripe but rather in intricate patterns that were eyecatching but not distracting. A overall good offering, though a splash of color would have jazzed up the rather boring palette.
