RUNWAY: Valentino FW12

Valentino roared open the Fall/Winter 2012 fashion season. The reserved yet powerful collection that paraded down the runway included leather detailing, color blocking and a sophistication level that's rarely met in menswear. Creative Directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli played with volume and portion as well. The standout pieces in the collection were the outerwear, like a voluminous coat seen on Nicolas Ripoll.
