Russian model Vladimir Ivanov appears in Kitsune's very summer-y collection. We love the Hamptons-esque styling and usage of white pants and shorts that signal a relaxed and mature selection.

The Spring/Summer 2012 of French-based company Smalto featured lean and modern silhouettes, seen in sun-bleached colors. We particularly enjoyed a textured double breasted suit in a creamy violet color, worn by Zakaria Khiare. There was even a child model seen in the finale, accompanied by Alexandre Cunha, who looks very cute in his studded suit but was quite upset during the whole walk down the runway. It definitely took momentum away from the collection and made us question what happened backstage that could've caused the little guy to become so upset. Nevertheless, the collection's military influences mixed with light and colorful fabrics resulted in a very enjoyable show, crying child not withstanding.

Songzio shocked us when we saw the models strut down the desolate and barren runway with neon yellow hair. Though it did create a good contrast when compared with the monotonic color scheme of the collection. Songzio's sharp, and sometimes avant-garde, tailoring played heavily with fit this season with certain pieces tailored to perfection while others draped and hung on the body like a piece of loose fabric. The footwear was also interesting, to say the least.

Carven's Spring/Summer 2012 collection featured shorts with a sleek take on workers boots. The colors were quite muted and natural, seen in olive, copper and navy, creating an unmistakably quiet and charming collection.
