RUNWAY: Lemaire FW19

Christophe Lemaire was once the head designer at Hermes's womenswear label and so for his namesake label - which is co-designed with his partner in work and life: Sarah-Linh Tran - there is always an air of understated elegance. One looks at the fabrics and feels the clothes to appreciate the quiet nuances of them - whether it's the specific drape of a v-neck knit or the boxy, cropped cut of a pant or the suppleness of the leathers the designers utilize; it's all purposeful but in a nondescript way.
