RUNWAY: Jil Sander FW19

Lucie and Luke Meier offered up a beautiful collection for Jil Sander, one that placed utility above else, with strikingly simple but effective details. Whether this was from the speckled knits, similar to OAMC's - which Luke designs - to the oversized and elongated outerwear. There was an ease and sophistication to these minimalist looks that melded the ethos of the house with that of the Meiers, something that the Jil Sander house hasn't had since Raf Simons and its namesake designer left...the second time.
