RUNWAY: Sacai SS19

Sacai's SS19 collection had all the trapping for boho-chic perfection, with cool wrap around blankets, draped layers and a roomy silhouette which offered a sense of liberation - something we've seen plenty of this season. Though just stopping short of such cool perfection was the problematic usage of tribal patterns and headwear in the collection - the latter used to complete a look with no real design viewpoint. Just another example of the fashion world taking from other cultures and profiting from it without giving back to those that "inspired" them.
