RUNWAY: John Elliott FW18

John Elliott's polished end-products tends tend to hide the extensive research and treatment of the fabrics he uses. With the Olympics going on concurrently as NYFW, it's hard not to see some similarities or influence between the two. For Elliott, the similarity came in the aforementioned fabrics which look easy and almost kind of mundane but new and technical treatment of linen and seamless outerwear belied the hard work that was put into these items, much like how easy many of the athletes make their triumphs look, and so that's the achievement in John Elliot's collection.
