RUNWAY: Jil Sander FW18

It's the start of a new era at Jil Sander with husband-and-white team Luke and Lucie Meier, the former being codesigner at OAMC. This debut collection for the duo offered ethereal layers of puffy and padded outerwear with touches of luxury via fur gloves or layers of cashmere while speckled and glittery coat-and-pant combo was beautiful and surprisingly quiet even though glittery and shiny are often not associated with the word quiet. It was an interesting posit as they try to make Jil Sander their own after years of disorientation since the namesake designer left (for the second time) and the ousting of Raf Simons for her comeback.
