RUNWAY: N. Hoolywood FW17
N. Hoolywood's FW17 collection touched on survival, solidarity and homelessness. The designer, Daisuke Obana, put layer upon layer of clothing on the models who strode down the runway today, creating busy looks that spoke to the real blight that many in the world are facing. There were, of course, great clothes beneath and between all the layers, like a great leather coat or MA1 bomber, while oversized accessories doubled as blankets and safety pins harkened the sign of solidarity people have been utilizing to show they
support tolerance, a quiet sign of support after the latest election in the United States.
