Disaster strikes and we must rebuilt so says Marcelo Burlon for his FW17 collection. Nature is beautiful and terrifying all at once, the immense beauty of Burlon's Argentina is showcased here but so is the varying weather, heightening with the growing threat of global warming. This was evidenced by the bolts of lightning seen on an outfit or the warm, natural tones of the clothes. The balance of beauty and destruction in one collection was a nice juxtaposition in this somewhat post-apocalyptic collection.
