RUNWAY: Jil Sander FW17

Since the departure of Jil Sander, the woman, for the second time, her namesake label has gone through a hard transitional phase. This collection was designed by the atelier with no creative director or head designer so while it hit upon the big hallmarks of a Jil Sander collection - minimalist and sleek lines - ultimately it seemed too heavily focused on accessories and bags and less on the clothes which were ephemeral and not in the good way: now you see it and now you forget you ever did.
