RUNWAY: Christopher Shannon FW17

Christopher Shannon's narrative on current events, and that specifically of the UK, are front and center at his FW17 show, from the face scarves worn by models depicting the flag to his kitschy takes on famous logos, like "Tumbleweed" (Timberland) or "Loss" (Hugo Boss). Meanwhile, ripped and destroyed layers harkened the soon-to-be separation of the UK with the European Union. Nevertheless, the clothes were still wearable and, according to the models, quite comfortable. Who says taking a stand using fashion has to be uncomfortable? Not Christopher Shannon.
