RUNWAY: Ricardo Seco SS17

Mexican-American designer Ricardo Seco think birds of a feather flock together and for Spring/Summer 2017 that particular bird was the elegant flamingo. Mirrored visors resembled beaks while flurry of pink was seen on everything from shirts to jackets to pants. A trim silhouette was exaggerated by one model's super skinny legs, akin to that of the flamingo. Meanwhile, an athletic mind frame pervaded the collection with saw kitschy references to the flamingo, like the plastic ones one might see on a lawn of a retiree in Florida.
