RUNWAY: Deveaux SS17

Deveaux, the brain-child of now-defunct menswear boutique Carson Street Clothiers, proffered a great selection of high-end fabrics made to look casual and sporty. Leather outerwear may seem incongruous with the hot and humid conditions in New York during the presentation but made for a great seasonless investment piece. Meanwhile, roped belts gave a nautical feel while the stark, often times monochromatic, looks in greys, bieges and whites brought home an ethereal, always-on-holiday vibe.
