RUNWAY: Giorgio Armani SS17
Giorgio Armani's decidedly light Spring/Summer 2017 was refreshing to see from the 82 year old designer who proffered boxy and wide trousers and slim fitting tailored tops as the base silhouette. Throughout the collection, there was an air of nonchalance in the luxurious clothes made up of cool and summer-ready fabrics like seersucker. Deconstructed tailoring has always the foundation of Armani's collections but the absence of eveningwear or fully suited looks seemed to signal that Armani has acquiesced that men have changed how they dress.
