RUNWAY: Jil Sander FW16

A subversive thread ran through Jil Sander's FW16 collection, seen as belts wrapped across the models bodies, as well as the proliferation of leather throughout the collection. Thatched fabrics added some dimension from the minimalist designs. The silhouettes were mostly clean and fitted with a few oversized items here and there, a coat with shearling, for example, or a wider pant hinted at the big trends being seen currently.
