RUNWAY: Ricardo Secco SS16

"Luck" was on Mexican designer Ricardo Secco's mind as he designed his colorful, print-heavy Spring/Summer 2016 collection. Secco aims to bring his native country's vibrant colors and culture to the forefront, in a positive and proactive way. What a time for it too especially after the heinous remarks of a certain U.S. presidential candidate about Mexico and Mexicans. For this collection, Secco set to combine hard edged designs like striking biker jackets with soft and sherbert-hued pants and shorts. all seen with details of mermaids, scorpions, palms, and hearts.
