RUNWAY: Public School FW15

Public School is fashion's latest darlings having won not just the CFDA/Vogue Fund but also the first Americna winners of the International Woolmark Prize. Their austere collections got a bit of a lift for FW15, thanks to a personal connection that connect to their own past. The downtown cool kid aesthetic of the 90s was the inspiration, a time when hip hop and urban culture finally started to pervade to the mainstream.
