RUNWAY: Yohji Yamamoto FW15
Bloodied and bruised models walked the runway as refugees today at
Yohji Yamamoto's FW15 show. Though the designer called them nomads, they resembled the poor, unfortunate souls who have to leave their homes due to war and find a new home elsewhere. Their clothes? Unfinished and scraped together from whatever fabrics are nearby. That's the story. In reality, these high fashion clothes were made from high quality velvet, wool and leather and the result was quintessentially Yohji Yamamoto.
