RUNWAY: TopMan Design FW15

TopMan Design's creations continue to be rooted in the 70s for FW15. Punk elements like chunky plaid suits felt on trend with what was seen on the runways last season while high pile "fur" coats added a bit of quirky-ness to the collection. Chunky shearling coats, like in the second look, captured the era quire perfectly, while unkempt hair on the models added a nice complement. That being said, the FW15 offerings felt strongest when it stayed within the confines of what the brand does best: slim suits and cool sportswear, like patchworked outwear and two tie-dyed jackets which felt very young, fresh and of the moment.
