RUNWAY: Saint Laurent FW15

Could Hedi Slimane be paying tribute to Paris after years of looking to California's grunge/rock scene for inspiration? It seems like he is, that is if Saint Laurent's FW15 collection is any indication. French berets were donned by models sporting skintight leather pants while music from little-known French bands played in the background. The pants were so tight that even the models' waifish hands could barely fit more than a knuckle into the pockets. The glamour that Slimane brings to the storied French maison was seen via high-gloss leather boots, metallic coats and a Maltese tiger fur coat that was the incapsulation of Slimane's aesthetic: tight, luxe, and rocker.
