RUNWAY: Junya Watanabe FW15

Men with swagger strutted down Junya Watanabe's red carpet today as the Japanese designer showcased his latest offerings. His country bumpkins have graduated to the nightlife in this jazz-y collection full of life but still holding onto the label's signature: patchwork and texture. Fuzzy jackets made from natural fabrics looked chic with slim fitted pants while tuxedos were an equal amount elegance and comfort, with a patch here or there on a sleeve or in the front by the buttons. In all, the lively cast, akin to a modern day Rat Pack, and the marriage of folksy dress and elegant tailoring made for an excellent collection.
