RUNWAY: Gosha Rubchinskiy FW15

Russian designer Gosha Rubchinskiy is a 90s kids at heart and continues to look at era for inspiration. Baggy clothes, masculine silhouettes and lots of attitude are what he showcased today, only his second collection in Paris. Skater boys donned these voluminous creations with emblems that looked to mimic (or mock? Pay homage?) to some of the biggest labels during the 90s, like Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren - Polo Sport to be exact. Instead of those recognizable logos, he showed them in Cyrillic, see the knit with "Sport" on it or Hilfiger's famous logo but seen as the Russian flag. The result is kitschy and fun for the designer who clearly doesn't care much for trends, at least current ones, anyway.
