RUNWAY: Opening Ceremony SS15

Since ascending to head Kenzo, Carol Lim and Humberto Leon have seen their company (and retail store) expand with their new worldwide roles. For SS15, the duo presented a decisively sophisticated collection for Opening Ceremony, one that combined the young and fun clothes they're known for producing (and selling) with technical know-how. The sporty men's collection was full of chic sportswear that elevated athletic wear to something you can wear all the time, think latex coated cotton to create a wonderful effect on a pair of sweatpants or a stunning overcoat in the same finish. The tropical feel was seen not just in the props but also in the prints, from a bomber with leaves and a mesh overlay to shells and palm trees on a pair of tailored shorts, all of which is sure to fly off the shelves.
