RUNWAY: Yohji Yamamoto FW14
It was a verifiable smorgasbord of patterns and prints at
Yohji Yamamoto's beautiful, albeit busy, Fall/Winter 2014 collection. Florals for winter has been something that's cropped up a few times this season and it was full force at Yamamoto, so were traditional wintry patterns like Fair Isle, seen on flowy suits or a traditional knit with camouflage pants. Speaking of camouflage, floral patterns were cut in a way this season that made them look like a camouflage pattern, a clever and fun idea! Yamomoto's aesthetics are unwavering and his cropped, voluminous and pattern-heavy collections hit all the marks this season.
