RUNWAY: Saint Laurent FW14

When Hedi Slimane ascended to become the Creative Director of (Yves) Saint Laurent, it has capped off the end of a nearly 3 week long men's fashion week juggernaut. For Fall/Winter 2014, Slimane showcased a cool and laid back collection, focused more on tailoring from three-button suits to oversized coats, such as an oversized houndstooth coat. Slender boys marched down the runway in strong shouldered pieces, from an emerald green smoking jacket to a punk-y peacoat with suede detail while others wore cropped black trousers with winklepickers and animal print coats and knits.
