RUNWAY: Kent & Curwen FW14
Sports inspired tailoring is
Kent & Curwen's niche and that's exactly what it brought to the table for FW14. If the man who took the bow at the end of the show looked familiar, albeit a bit scruffier, that's because that's Simon Spurr, who left his eponymous label in New York back in 2011. Spurr's vision of menswear hasn't changed since then as he designed a collection that was equal parts weekend in the country and city slicker, with the former looking more akin to something one may see on Downton Abbey. A great debut for Spurr who was appointed Creative Director in November 2013.
