RUNWAY: Burberry Prorsum FW14

Burberry Prorsum showed its Fall/Winter 2014 collection today on the last day of LCM and the result was a romantic collection of languishly draped layers, from oversized silky scarves wrapped around the shoulders or hanging from underneath overcoats to mesh shirts. Burberry's soon-to-be CEO Christopher Bailey said goodbye to the austere military coats and cigarette pants of season's past and instead the silhouettes were looser without losing their refined look. Abstract patterns littered coats, scarves and bags but upon closer inspection they were actually maps of London; who knew Burberry could get anymore English?
