RUNWAY: Tim Coppens SS14

Streamlined fashion was en mode at Tim Coppens' Spring/Summer 2014 collection as the former RLX designer was inspired by the lightning speed world of race car driving. Textured leather shorts, albeit a bit binding in the summer heat, were a welcome addition to the Coppens look while other pieces pick up where the last collection left off, such as dual zippers and color blocked accents, creating a meld of utilitarianism and high end technical fashion. For the upcoming season, there was also a strong whiff of androgyny as Coppens showed a handful of womenswear looks while some mens looks seemed non-gender specific.
