RUNWAY: Issey Miyake SS14
If
Issey Miyake's SS14 show looked slightly different than previous showings that's because the Japanese label has a new menswear designer in Yusuke Takahashi. Takahahi created a collection that seemed to be inspired by artists, minus any bohemian themes.
Piet Mondrian-esque squares harkened not just the artist but Yves Saint Laurent's famous Mondrian collection to a plethora of paint splattered clothing that might've been inspired by
Jackson Pollock's famous paintings.
