RUNWAY: Kenzo FW13

Paris-based house Kenzo was invited to be the main event during this season's Pitti Uomo, a great honor for any brand. Humberto Leon and Carol Lim looked to the sky for inspiration, as evidenced by the cloud prints on many of the opening looks. Then the collection saw rich orange hues then eventually a flurry of black. The sharp and streamlined silhouette felt modern and fresh while the paneling was very interesting. The house's legacy is in innovative prints, as well as pairing mixed media to create cohesive and intriguing outfits and Leon and Lim continue to do so for Kenzo.
