RUNWAY: Calvin Klein Collection FW13

Calvin Klein's mens director Italo Zucchelli opted for plenty of texture for the house's latest runway collection. Chunky herringbone jackets were eyecatching but not cringe-worthy while quilts and ribbing added detail the very minimal and dour clothes. The silhouette was much more relaxed and less rigid, offering a more consumer friendly collection, something the runway line from Calvin Klein is synonymous for not being because of its usually high concept and fashion forward pieces. However, Zucchelli saw a happy median between egalitarian and fashion forward in this collection and chose a supremely complementary color palette.
