RUNWAY: Alexander Wang FW13

Chinese-American designer Alexander Wang has a full plate, in addition to his own collections, now he's also responsible for Balenciaga's multiple collections. The young fashion school dropout will certainly be garnering some frequent flyer miles. For his eponymous collection, he focused on fabrications to ramp up the high fashion factor, like reinforced leather, quilted cottons and wools to cashmere. A rounded shoulder gave the collection a very relaxed feel and the cropped proportions are sure to get every hipster from New York to Paris salivating.
