Yohji Yamamoto and Adidas celebrated their 10th anniversary yesterday in a stunning look back and look ahead at their baby: Y-3. Yamamoto's Japanese streetwear influences have always reigned supreme while Adidas' economy of scale and deeper pockets helped fuel the successful collaboration into the first decade of the millennium. For SS13, the collection rehashed some favorites while introducing newer but fluid proportions and fit, all with an air of celebratory aplomb.
