RUNWAY: Emporio Armani SS13

Giorgio Armani's Emporio line offered a sexy and youthful Spring/Summer 2013 collection. Strong shoulders helped create a boxy silhouette, reminiscent of Armani's "power suit" but in fabrics that conveyed a much lighter feel. He also played with transparency, seen on striped shirts, as well as a trend that hasn't quite caught on in Milan (yet) but was seen on almost every runway in London: a suit worn with shorts.
