RUNWAY: N. Hoolywood FW12

N. Hoolywood continues to be one of the most promising and noteworthy brands to come out of New York Fashion Week. The ruggedly sleek collections of Daisuke Obana for N. Hoolywood took us on a Southern fishing trip for Fall/Winter 2012 with great pieces like a wonderfully chic and egalitarian yellow rain slicker paired with some canvas sneakers; other footwear ranged knee-high boots to round-toe workman's boots. In the end, Obana presented a collection that didn't rely on gimmicks or viral marketing but rather cool, wearable and utilitarian clothing. And that is why his brand is one of the most buzz-worthy to show during NYFW.
