RUNWAY: Walter Van Beirondonck FW12

Walter Van Beirondonck's shows are always quite a spectacle. For FW12, the Belgian oddball created a collection about duality, sharp tailoring contrasted nightmare-inducing masks, with chic, if not possibly-weaponized canes. Van Beirondonck is never one to make half a statement, instead, the designer took colorblocking in a new level with large geometric color blocking seen on everything from suits to jumpers. The highlight was seen at the end with a showcase of luxurious knits, fuzzy oversized pants, and paneled outerwear.
