RUNWAY: Versace FW12
Donatella Versace showed a brilliant collection that harkened to Versace's golden era: the 1990s. Teetering the line between garish and gorgeous, Donatella's editing eye turned the collection into a series of flamboyant and luxurious looks that ranged from boxy power suits in pinestripe to brightly colored fur trim to a mix print of floral-camouflage looks. Like Spring/Summer 2012, when the house opened the Versace archives, it seems like Versace is going back to its heyday of flamboyance, excess and Miami-luxury.
