RUNWAY: agnes b. FW12

Agnes B's Fall/Winter 2012 collection started out quite somber and we thought the off-beat designer decided on a new era for the house. We were pleased to find out the collection eventually led us into friendly-agnes b. territory. Patterned pants were rolled up and paired with matching socks; there were also some shorts and skirts to be seen on the runway. Keeping with the unexpected trend of capes this season, we saw capes throughout, with some models having some fun with the pieces, such as Lyle Lodwick who came out holding the cape out behind him as he whizzed onto the runway. In all, the collection offered a wide range of options and the color palette was generous.
