RUNWAY: Reserva SS12

Marlon Teixeira has moved from opening and closing Blue Man during Fashion Rio to opening and closing one of Sao Paolo Fashion Week's most anticipated menswear show: Reserva. Last season's opener, Francisco Lachowski, was not in town because he is currently in Paris & Milan for casting.

For Spring/Summer 2012, prints are alive and well for Reserva's collection, but were bit more tamed compared to last season, referencing florals and the Amazon Rainforest. A big trend this season from the Brazilian shows has been island-wear and a relaxed silhouette, that trend has seeped into Reserva's collection as well and executed with a bit more ease than some others.
