CFDA/GQ Best New Menswear Designer in America FW11

The CFDA and GQ showed the six collections up for the distinguished title of Best New Menswear Designer in America in New York this past week. The six designers were: Alexander Wang for T by Alexander Wang, Michael Bastian for Gant by Michael Bastian, Patrik Ervell, Rick Klotz for Warriors of Radness, Joe Sadler, Derek Buse and Greg Ullery for Riviera Club, and Kirk Miller for Miller's Oath. In addition to the distinction of winning, the winner also received a cash prize of $50,000 to help expand their menswear. Ultimately, the prize went to Alexander Wang. However, all the designers are innovators and deserve much praise!
